Training Sessions at the Municipal Public Library in Starachowice

On March 19, 2024, the Reading Room of the MPL hosted psychological workshops, which included training sessions for teachers from educational institutions in Starachowice and activities for youth.

Workshops titled: "Specialized Training Preparing for Work with Children Addicted to Multimedia and Modern Communication Tools" were conducted as part of the educational and workshop series "Modern Competencies Essential for Protecting Children's Rights and Safety in Schools." They were led by Dr. Katarzyna Krzystanek, a psychologist and academic lecturer.

The psychological workshops for students focused on dealing with stress, children's rights, internet scams involving children, and interactions within peer/multicultural groups. The sessions were led by educator Urszula Kaźmierska; participants included students from the Sports High School operating within Vocational School Complex No. 3 in Starachowice.

The activities were coordinated by Ms. Sylwia Bluszcz from the Integration Europe-East Association. The Association's workshops at the MPL were organized by Monika Telka, the reading room manager.

The initiative was implemented in cooperation with the Integration Europe-East Association, which, in partnership with the Lex Generalis Foundation, is carrying out a two-year project titled "Świętokrzyskie – Development and the State for Professional Counseling."
